On Friday 28th January Moschino Hoe, Versace Hottie teamed up with Skate Mania to bring a night of serious fun to The Custard Factory. By 11pm the venue was getting pretty busy. By midnight we had to regretfully turn people away! The lucky ones who either bought an advance ticket or arrived early will testify to what a brilliant night it turned out to be. With a mixture of experienced skaters and complete novices the atmosphere was electric.

Due to adverse weather conditions the venue has had to close for the weekend. This is down to a burst water main in the warehouse which has affected the electrics and plumbing.

We currently have people working on the situation but we can not offer any guarantee that the problem will be fixed by this evening. For health & safety reasons we have been advised by the authorities that the venue can not open until it has been fixed. We have therefore had to cancel the Bigger Than Barry event.

THE MED BAR REMAINS UNEFFECTED AND STILL OPEN FOR SOUTH BIRMINGHAM COMMUNITY RADIO SHOWCASE 4AM – 4PM.

We are very disappointed, as are the promoters, however unfortunately the circumstances are out of our control.

We would like to take this opportunity to apologize to all involved and particularly to the loyal Barry crowd.
