BUNKA

Bunka was born over 2 years ago out of a need for a fresh underground house and techno night in Birmingham. With humble beginnings at the Bull’s Head in Moseley and a no bullshit, back-to-basics policy it has developed into a force to be reckoned with on the local party scene. Its roster of guests and resident DJs relies on home grown talent from in and around the midlands who know their music.

Dusty Kid the producer is also making big waves in the download charts with his album ‘A Raver’s Diary’ showcasing his knack for creating electronic sounds that you will have never heard before.

STUPID UNDERGROUND = packed parties! These parties have established themselves as pretty mental affairs at the Custard Factory. Between January 2007 and September 2009 they proceeded to sell out to complete capacity 11 of their events at The Custard Factory gaining a reputation for showcasing the highest profile DJs in the business, often with 5 rooms of different music without charging the earth to get in.

ATOMIC-JAM is one of biggest, longest running and most popular techno nights in the UK, now in its 14th year and still pushing boundaries like they have just begun. A reputation for great music, credible guests, stunning production, a brilliant and loyal following, they take a break from their iconic nights at The Q Club to take over the second marquee as part of our NYE celebrations.

BREAKTHRU is the Midlands premier Drum and Bass night. Breakthru is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and pioneering mix of big name DJs with cutting edge artists. The proud home to the genre’s biggest label nights such as Goldie’s Metal Headz, Marcus Intallex and Calibre’s Soulution, Hospitatlity with High Contrast and of course the mighty Valve Sound System which transforms the venue’s lakeside marquee into a unique event of truly epic proportions.

BIGGER THAN BARRY is the fattest rave in Brum Town that even ya nan doesn’t want to miss. The fatman plays a mash up between Dubstep / Fidget / Garage / 2 Step and anythin’ with a heavy bass. He has played host to such superstar DJs as Fake Blood, Diplo, Annie Mac, New Jack City, Rusko & Jack Beats to name just a select few. Bring your dancing shoes…

EARDRUM is Birmingham’ most established Dubstep event and has seen the debut of the likes of Skream, Benga, NType, Martyn, Geiom, Hatcha, TRG and Appleblim.

BRUM – The Midlands Biggest Weekly Electro / Dubstep Student Night is an authentic taste of Birmingham, bringing you the Midlands’ best up and coming DJs and live acts, as well as some heavy hitters from across the UK, providing you with the filthiest mash up of music the UK has to offer. Every Wednesday at The Custard Factory
